Peyo Yavorov Secondary School
Our school is located in one of the 5 regions of Varna and is the largest school in our town. There are 725 pupils aged 7 to 19 years. Approximately 30% of children and teenagers living in single parent families and a variety of reasons: divorce, separation or death. Many parents work several jobs due to financial reasons. There are students whose parents live and work in various foreign countries.
Therefore, most of them left only with their problems and difficulties. They are unable to share their problems or to solve it. Our proposal is to teach children to accept differences, to be tolerant, patient as different from them.
We want to work on projects, because project-oriented training develops communication and computer skills, skills for teamwork, improve language skills and enrich students' knowledge in the field of culture.
